The Provincial Education Delegate for Granada,, Antonio Jesús Castillo, has resigned after plans to reshuffle rural schools ran up against strong opposition.
School Failure Too High

Eight out of every ten pupils in Motril fail their end-of term-exams. A study carried out by the Asociaciones de Padres y Madres de Alumnos found that only 16% of pupils pass these exams, which means that things are just as grim as the 2008/2009 school year.
