Not every municipality is going to hold a Three Kings Parada today due to health concerns, but Almuñécar is with only three security staff in place.
As has become the tradition, the Reyes Magos in Salobreña took time out to visit the children’s ward at Hospital Santa Ana in Motril.
A dozen children on the Children’s Ward at Hospital Santa Ana received a visit from the Motril Firemen on Three Kings’ Day.
The Three Kings weren’t short of company as 3,000 villagers turned out to follow the parade, but before they did the circuit, they shot off over to Hospital Santa Ana to sprinkle the younger patients with presents.
If you have a port, why not use it? Well, that’s what their Multiple Majesties must have concluded because the Three Kings arrived in town aboard a fishing boat, docking on a quayside, thronged with expectant faces.
Everybody had fun at the 3-kings parade in the village; the kiddies before their sweet-hurling majesties, and the parents who enjoyed the fun gleaming in their children’s eyes.
