Work on 7-Star to Begin This Year

According to the building developers behind the Almunecar, 7-star-hotel project, Bahia Fenecia, despite the hold up over the licence, construction work will begin before the year is out. In fact, the problem over the licence merely put the project back by about a month, they consider.

Fibrinolysis for Heart Attack Victims

The Almunecar medical facilities, which are included within the Southern Granada Health Management Area, will now have fibrinolysis available in its Unidad de Cuidados Criticos y Urgencias.

Almunecar PGOU Restart

The conservative (PP) Mayoress of Almunecar, Trinidad Herrera, has announced that her new administration will begin pushing the stalled PGOU for its final approval from the Junta de Andalucia.

Sad New Record

Desperate Arrivals

More or less since the late spring the eastern coast of Andalucia, including the Costa Tropical, has been receiving dozens of illegal immigrants in desperate conditions striving to reach land – undetected.

Awe Inspiring

I could have used the word ‘awesome’ but it has lost a lot of impact as an adjective due to overuse in everyday conversation. No, the only way to describe Almunecar’s annual firework display on the night of the 15th is that it inspired awe in just about everybody that witnessed it.
