The senior police officer, Mateo Franco, was replaced as Head of the municipal police, after falling out with the politically appointed department head.

La Negra Strikes

Underwater Welding Course

Another item of news concerning divers is the initiation of the first professional divers course in the province at the Centro de Buceo de La Herradura, giving diplomas to the students to work in underwater construction, welding and salvage operations, etc.

Herradura’s I Feria Gastronomica

The I Feria Gastronómica is set to go ahead on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of June. Applicants had until the 30th of April to request a stand, and if we had known about it at the Gazette, we would have warned you in the last issue.
