Fire Above Cantarrijan

A mountain fire broke out on the 6th at Cerro Gordo, just below the parking area of the entrance road for Playa Cantarrijan. Fortunately, the rapid intervention of fire-fighting teams managed to extinguish the flames before they could spread further.

Streets Resurfaced in Salobreña

Around 20 streets within Salobreña will be resurfaced – work has commenced already. This project is part of the 2008 provincial development plan belonging to the Diputacion de Granada (provincial council).
