Torre del Mar Air Show

You’re still in time to see the Torre del Mar Air Show, which began yesterday but will have its big day today!

The main display will start on Sunday at 12:00h, half an hour later than initially announced and is expected to last three and a half hours.

The  Patrulla PAPEA will open from 12:00h to 12:20h, followed by the Guardia Civil parachute display until 12:35h. Then the Real Aeroclub de Sevilla will be doing their stuff until 12:47h.

Between then and 13:07 PM, there will be motorised paragliders followed by the ELA Autogiro until 13:19h. As soon as they are out of the way, the Policía Nacional will appear with their helicopter between 13:19 PM and 13:31h.

As you can see, it is a pretty tight schedule so far!

Aerosparx (aerobatics) will occupy the sky in front of the beach between 13:31h and 13:43h, just before two consecutive displays by the Guardia Civil: the helicopter from 13:43h to 13:51h, and the CN-235 aircraft from 13:51h to 13:59h.

Camilo Benito in his specialised aircraft for aerobatics, the Extra 330SC, will perform next until 14:11k, making way for one of the major military aircraft of this edition, the A400M, whose display is scheduled between 14:11h and 14:23h.

The final stretch will gather some of the headline acts of the lineup. Yakstars (five Yak-52) will fly from 14:23h to 14:37 h, and the C.16 Eurofighter will blast through the skey between 14:37h and 14:49h.

The helicopter display team, Patrulla ASPA from Armilla (Granada) will then have 25 minutes until 15:14h, and the Formación Mirlo  will close out the displays between 15:14h and 15:29 h. That’s an odd time to finishish but the final minute is for runovers in the schedule so that the display officially concludes at 14.30h.
