Eilyn Saray Martínez Paéz, a 15-year old from Motril, has been missing since Wednesday night, when she left her home at 21:30h.

She didn’t return home that night but her parents held out hope that she had stayed with friend, but come the afternoon, her mother went to the Policía Nacional station to file a missing person’s report.

Whilst the police are working to find her, her family and friends turned to social media to ask for help. Within hours, an image with her photograph had spread like wildfire across WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.

Eilyn Saray is described at being 1.60m in height, light-brown eyes and light-brown hair. As mentioned above, she’s 15. If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Eilyn Saray Martínez Paéz, they can contact the family at the phone number 601 502 521, or go directly to the police.

Post Opdate: apparently, the girl contacted her mother yesterday. Although the investigation remains operative, the police have ruled out a kidnapping or anything similar.
