The Encuentro de Asociaciones de Almuñécar-La Herradura 2026 will be held, as always, in the Parque Jardín-Botanico, El Majuelo this coming weekend.

Forty clubs and assocations will participate on Saturday the 30th, from those representing national communities to aeromodelling clubs, as well as charities needing support in order to provide their very necessary services.

This event, with over two decades under its belt, is a great opportunity not only for a day out in the park, but also a chance to find out more about different nationalities thanks to their stands, sampling a little of their cuisine, for example.

The clubs fair starts at 11:00h and will conclude at 18.00h and has a complete programme for all the family; for the kids, educational games, crafts, painting, board games, and a treasure hunt.

There will also be specialist workshops: scientific activities, environmental workshops, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) demonstrations.

Up on the stage there will be Kenpo, maintenance gymnastics, and zumba exhibitions, as well as live music & dance featuring the Escuela Alma Marinera and performers Ángeles del Castillo, and Javier González.

The Food & drink bar will be run in benefit of the Almuñécar Cáritas Parroquial (church charity). There will also be traditional fritters (buñuelos) and hot chocolate available to raise funds for the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
