The Cruz-Roja Lottery, Sorteo del Oro, on the 23rd of July, will feature the post codes belonging to a score of municipalities along the Costa Tropical.

The Chairman of the Mancomuniad, Rafael Caballero, together with mayors from the Costa Tropical and representatives from Cruz Roja, presented these lottery tickets before the gathered press. Twenty municipalities have been selected.

This summer lottery, where the tickets cost six euros each, is one of the Spanish Red Cross’s main sources of funding, so it is very important and allows them to continue to provide a whole range of services for those in need.

It is a way that the general public can award and help them for all the good work that they do; their social care programmes, for instance and their response in emergencies.

The draw will distribute thousands of prizes, including 3-million euros for the first prize, one million for the second and 500,000 euros for the third, in addition to numerous other prizes, with all proceeds going to social projects.
