Is nothing sacred? Imagine that you’re out walking your lap-poodle-type dog when a large dangerous-looking dog chews into it. It’s just not cricket, is it!

This is what happened around eight in the evening one day in the city of Málaga to a 90-year-old woman, or more accurately to her Maltese Dog whilst walking along the street. 

Now, obviously, the lady was pretty upset and was having trouble breathing and had to be treated by paramedics. Her dog, on the other hand, was half in the other dog’s digestive system.

The owner of the beast, an American Bully, was walking her 4-legged pyschopath without a muzzle… and probably bereft of breakfast. 

It also lacked a microchip, pet insurance and an owner with  a hint of common sense.

A Policía Local patrol was summoned by several bystanders who had witnessed the American Bully attacking the Maltese Dog. (Bichón Maltés).

Apparently, the smaller dog was off its leash (an darguably out of its mind) and decided to approach the American Bully. Eyeing the ridiculous creature weighing barely two kilos, it decided to swiftly end its existence, much to the surprise of the 90-year old, the psycho-mutt owner and above all, the small dog.

The elderly woman suffered an anxiety attack, the other woman wondered what the hell she had on the other end of the lead and the surviving dog burped – everybody else in the park was astounded and outraged.

The owner of the American Bully (who claimed she had just rescued the animal), was ultimately booked for several serious violations of municipal bylaws and animal ownership laws: possession of a potentially dangerous animal without a license; lack of obligatory civil-liability insurance; and walking it in public without a muzzle, as well as using a leash exceeding the permitted length. She was also done for the lack of a microchip and failure to register the dog in the municipal canine DNA registry.
