Almuñécar's Programa de Senderismo 2026 appears to be going well with around 50 participants in the previous walk, so the next one is this Sunday the 22nd and will take in some of the Alpujarra.

The route will start in Órgiva, and will follow Río Chico, taking in Molino Beliznate, the cemetery, La Cuesta, Carataunas, Bayacas, completing a circular route and arriving back in Órgiva.

This hike will take between five and six hours passing by centenary olive trees. As far as route difficulty goes, it is classified as ‘easy,’ in the sense of terrain and duration.

The bus will be leaving at 07.30h from outside the football stadium.
