A woman in her early 40s was arrested in Ronda (Málaga) by the Policía Nacional, accused of two muggings.
The two victims, men of 61 and 75, were assaulted in their own homes. Police investigation points towards her having spiked the drink of one in order to relieve him of his belongings and physically assaulted the other with the same objective.
Officers from the Grupo Operativo Local de la Comisaría de Ronda investigated both incidents separately with evidence pointing to the same individual… Mrs Nasty.
The first incident occurred when one of the men reported that he had been drugged in his home by a woman who he had ‘invited in’ to have a nightcap after meeting her in a pub. He woke up the next day, 500 euros lighter, as well as bereft of his mobile and tablet.
He went straight to the hospital for a blood test and it came back with the presence of benzodiacepines, commonly known as benzos. He had obviously been hoping to ‘exchange bodily fluids’ but instead exchanged his possessions for thin air.
The other incident involved a surprise visit to the 75-year-old, victim’s home; he opened the door and she introduced him to the floor. She then threatened him with further violence if he did not accompany her to a cashpoint (ATM) and withdraw cash (1,000 euros). He then waved goodbye to his cash and hopefully, to her.
The police tracked her down by tracing the victim’s phone, leading to her arrest.
