The Municipal Sports Pavilion, Antonio Marina was the venue for the III Liga Andaluza 2025 de Kenpo with competitors between the ages of six and 15 coming from all over Andalucía.

The two categories were Prebenjamin (ages 6 & 7) and Cadete (ages 14 & 15) and for many of the kids this type of event was a first for them.

The local teams came from Vélez de Benaudalla, Almuñécar, La Herradura, Motril, Otívar, Jete, Nerja, Cómpeta and Torrox

But it’s the municipality’s talent that most interests us for this section because the La Herradura athletes were ‘kick-ass’ and never better said. 

La Herradura, supplied six competitors and came away with six podium medals, becoming four Andalusian Champions and two Sub-Champions. The Almuñécar Councillor for Sports, Luis Aragón, handed out the medals to the winning competitors. 

The III Liga Andaluza 2025 de Kenpo was organised by the Departamento de Kenpo de la Federación Andaluza de Kárate (FAK) and CD Adakka Almuñécar.
