You can say that Bar Amigos, In the heart of the town, is where Salobreña comes together.
The bar, more or less in front of Libería 1616, attracts locals, expats, and travelers who love good vibes, great music, and a friendly atmosphere.
What started as a cozy bar has grown into a lively community hub — a place where everyone truly feels welcome, just like the name suggests.
There’s always something happening: from live music to social groups, pub quizzes, and international celebrations.
Every Wednesday evening, they host live music featuring a talented lineup of local artists such as Juntos, Johnny Chiu, and Sammy J — plus fresh new musicians who join our growing family of amigos. Tomorrow will see a performance by Johnny Chiu, starting at 20.00h and lasting until 22.00h
The fun doesn’t stop there. Bar Amigos is home to a variety of social groups, including music, chess, and darts, with knitting and task groups launching soon for those who enjoy creativity and community in equal measure.
Once a month on Thursday, they host their popular pub quiz, where teams compete for glory, laughter, and of course, a few well-earned drinks. There’s also language groups (taskgroups)
Bar Amigos also loves to celebrate! This year they’ve already held its own Oktoberfest, and with Halloween, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve just around the corner, the party continues. More international festivities are already in the works!
And for sports fans — they’ve got you covered too. Thanks to our TV Bar subscription, they can show nearly every major sports event, from football to Formula 1 and more.
