The Department of Culture and Festivals has prepared a full programme of activities for this month, featuring plays, concerts, documentaries and more!
Councillor for Culture Alberto Manuel García Gilabert, announce the coming The Jazz Series (Ciclo de Jazz) organised by Juventudes Musicales taking place between the 16th and 18th in the Casa de La Cultura:

16th at 20.00h: Cuarteto Cristopher Pérez; 17th at 20.00h: Quinteto Víctor Carrascosa and 18th at 20.00h, Ron Quartet.
On the 19th, Radio Fórmula show will feature the greatest (Spanish) hits of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.
September the 20th will see a double event, with a classical guitar concert by Igor Klokov in the evening at 22.00h in the Palacio de Las Siete Cuevas, and The Blue Stompers Jump Review performing their fusion of blues and boogie in the evening at 19.00h at the Casa de La Cultura.
The following day will be a chance to hear the Mediterranean Chamber Orchestra which will perform great compositions from film and television-series scores at 19.00h at the Casa de La Cultura.
As for the screening of documentaries, on the 21st they will put on the Baracoa, 500 Years On at 19.30h at the Casa de La Cultura.
As for plays, there will be a performance entitled Olvido on the 27th in the Casa de la Cultura, where you can purchase your entrance tickets or via the website www.bravoentradas.es
Of course, no September could be complete with the Fiestas de San Miguel, which are held on the 29th up in the old town.
Also towards the end of the month the Ecomercado (Eco-market) will be held in the in the Plaza del Agua on the 28th (Next to the police station).
The dance schools, Punta y Tacón will stage Imprescindibles on the 27th and 28th.
