Salobreña Photo Exibition

There is a photography exhibition, entitled Women, currently open in Salobreña's Municipal Library, Exhibition Hall.

The exibition, which opened yesterday and will run until the 10th, consistis of 22 photographs divided into several sections, with the sections being dedicated to the continent where the photo was taken.

The exhibition aims to “give the subjects name and voice, showing in some cases the problematic context in which they live.”

So that the viewer can know more about the subject, each photo will have a QR code, giving more details about the subject and where the photo was taken.

The project director for the Fundación Paralelo 70, Georgina Carlús, gave a talk at the inauguration, addressing gender issues and the role of women in society.

The exhibition is organised by the Fundación Parealego, in collaboration with the Provincial Council and the Department of Equality at the Town Hall.
