The Valle Río Verde village of Lentegí now has Vía Ferrata on the Tajo de las Viñas.
The Provincial Council Delegate, José Ramón Jiménez, was accompanied by Mayor Juan Manuel Arellano in the inauguration of the scaling installations, which consists of a series of rungs up the cliff face with a safety line to prevent falls.

The total budget reaches 69,061 euros, of which 3,984 euros came as a grant from the Provincial Council for materials and a further 15,937 euros from the Junta. The Town Hall coughed up the remaining 17,000-odd euros
So what has actually been erected is the said safety cable onto which climbers can attach themselves that has a pulley-&-brake system. This stretches all the way up to the top. Access to where the metal rungs begin and end have been cleared and a flat area for parking provided, as well as signposting.
