Almuñécar Town Hall has announced that the municipality's museums and castles will have free admission on the 18th, which is the International Monuments and Sites Day.

Heritage sites include The Castillo de San Miguel, the Museo Arqueológico Cueva Siete Palacios and the Castillo de La Herradura (where the 1562 La Furia del Mar museum is.)

The Town Hall urges locals and visitors to take advantage of this opportunity to see the municipalitys heritage sites and to take selfies in them and upload them with a #patrimoniosexitano tag; thus helping to promote cultural tourism for Almuñécar’s thousand years of history.
