Family and friends of the man who was stabbed to death in Almuñécar protested outside the Almuñécar law courts this morning.
The victim, 33-year-old Gaby, a father of two, died from his 14 stab wounds last Friday during a street fight. The incident took place where Calle Velez joins the Avenida de Europa.

The 40-year-old aggressor, who has a criminal record, is currently in police custody pending trial.
The small crowd gathered in front of the Almuñécar law courts holding aloft signs saying, “We want justice!”
Gaby’s mother, Lenny de Jesus, explained, “My son went to speak with him, not to fight, but they killed him for being a good person and for not being afraid.”
Gaby, who was a boxing instructor for children in his free time and worked as a security guard and bricklayer, leaves behind 13-year-old Iker and 7-year-old Valeria.
The spokesperson for the family, Carlos Garcia, explained that the aggressor had been hounding Gaby on social media for at least five months with constant threats, so he had gone to talk and reason with Fernando, but Fernando had gone to the meeting withou any intention of talking as he had gone with a large knide: “it wasn’t a fight, it was an assassination,” he concluded.
