Very strong winds wrought havoc in the province of Sevilla yesterday, as well as the rest of western Andalucia.
In the municipality of Coria del Río in Sevilla, for example, a small tornado caused an agricultural warehouse to collapse, killing three workers inside.

It was close to 11.30h when a tremendous crash caused by the collapsing metal structure was heard. Within moments the roof had been ripped off and the walls collapsed. Parts of the roof were carried almost half a kilometre from where the building stood.
The victims were two brothers, both from Dos Hermanas; the 61-year-old owner of the warehouse and his 59-year-old brother who worked there. As for the third victim, at the time of writing it is only known that he was a 40-year-old employee.
The accident could have been worse were it not for the weather warning (Yellow) issued by the Spanish Met Office on Thursday concerning the approach of Storm Nuria because the 20-odd farm hands had not turned up to work on the land Friday morning.
Over in Granada both the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada ski station were affected by strong winds with the former closing access to the gardens for safety reasons whilst the ski slopes were closed all of Friday because of gusting wind reaching 120 kmp.
