The Policía Local in Almuñécar caught a driver on Tuesday who had been driving around for the last ten years with no points left on his licence.
The police had set up a routine road check that evening with the aim of checking driver & vehicle documents of anybody they randomly pulled over.

Most drivers had everything in order but then they stopped this particular driver: “He had an invalid licence through the loss of points and also had a record for previous highway-code infringements,” stated the police on their social-media page.
The immobilised the car so that it could be towed away and arrested the driver. No valid licence means that any insurance policy is null & void, which is another infringement.
