This follows instructions from the Councillor for Citizen Safety, Mª Carmen Martín Orce (Head of the municipal police) to go after this kind of anti-social behaviour. 

The councillor points out that the many property owners or tenants put a lot of effort into embellishing the facades of their homes; something that is mirrored by the Town Hall with the upkeep of parks, and gardens, planting flowers, etc, whilst keeping the streets clean through the company hired for that task.

For this reason, the councillor reminds residents that there is a free service for disposing of old furniture, etc, available on tel/no: 900 107 709 from Monday to Friday, between 09.00h and 14.00h. Therefore, it takes just one phone call to avoid littering the streets.
