A Gazette online reader writes in about Radio Salobreña's online service.
Hello Martin Myall,
As nonresident Danish Salobreneros spending most of our time in Copenhagen, my wife and I enjoy listening to Radio Salobrena daily on the internet. However, for the last few days we have been unable to receive the radio station on our internet radio, IPads or mobil phones.

Radio Salobrena does not seem to mention anything about having transmission problems on their website, but maybe you can help us to find out what can be the problem?
Apart from Radio Salobrena, we are also daily readers of the Seaside Gazette and enjoy getting the local news from your perspective!
Best wishes,
Michael Danielsen
Hi, Michael, thank you for writing in and also for your kind words. I have tried to phone the radio station but they are not picking up the phone, so I sent them an email which, hopefully, they will respond to tomorrow. However, I have just tried clicking on their link at it appears to be working perfectly.

Buenas tardes. Uno de nuestros lectores de la Seaside Gazette vive en Dinamarca y nos dice que no puede sintonizar con vuestra radio, ni con tablet, portátil ni smartphone. Tienen usted algún problema con su servicio via Internet?
Un saludo cordial
Martin Myall
Reader’s comment: “On March 10 radio Salobreña was affected by the rain and a potential lightening strike. They posted this on Instagram. Best to follow them there for updates to any news including technical issues.” – Shak
Thank you, Shak, but the reader has told us since that he can now listen to their station on Internet again, but your comment does explain why he couldn’t beforehand – Martin
