Today sees the Sierra Nevada ski slopes closed because of strike action; a closure that lasts all day.
The strike began at 08.00h and by 08.15h, the semi-public company that runs the installations, Cetursa Remontes announced the closure during the rest of the day, include night skiing.

For those who bought their forfaits online, there will be an automatic refund. For those who bought them at the ticket office or via ATMs, then they will have to fill out a reclamation by following this link.
Skiers and snowboarders who either didn’t know that there was going to be a strike today, or those who thought that they would go up just in case it was called off, stood around watching the protesters bearing banners and blowing whistles.
However, slowly Pradollanos began to empty, although some returned to their hotel rooms for tomorrow, when the ski slopes will be running again but for sports competitions.
