Online crooks are now targeting CaixaBank account holders using 'spoofing' technicas, both with SMS's and voice calls.
The message says that somebody is accessing the victim’s account and if it wasn’t him (or her), then and the victim needs to click on a link to prevent it.

The link takes the victim to an authentic-looking CaixaBank website were the unwary put in their access information, thus giving the cyber crooks all the info they need to withdraw the victim’s bank balance.
The other scam is in the form of a telephone call, claiming to be a CaixaBank employee who requests sensitive data from the victim. There are even emails that duplicate the official website design, in order to give more credence to the email.
If you get a call, an SMS or email requesting your personal info, ignore it – just go to your local branch or phone them; the latter is almost a Mission Impossible, admittedly.
