Officers belonging to the Policía Nacional have begun an investigation into the death of a 60-year-old British man in a hotel room in Fuengirola.
The emergency coordination centre received an alert around 09.40h yesterday morning from the hotel, which is situated on the Avenida Santa Amalia; they had found the body of a man in his room, which he should have checked out from the day before.

The centre despatched the Policía Nacional, who upon examing the body saw no signs of violence, although it will be the autopsy that will rule that out, if it is the case.
The judge from the police court and a coroner arrived to give permission for the removal of the body. There are no details available concerning who the man was.
