At the beginning of last month in Padul there was a camper-van meet in town, the VI KDD Club Camper Furgograná.

The gathering point for the event (on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th) was near the old silo (which displays gigantic murals on all four sides) and the event had activities for all ages.

This club’s aim is for its members to have a chance to explore the municipalities within the province. For example, their previous meets were Alhama de Granada (I & II) and Montefrío (III & IV).

The club has 80 camper vans and converted comercial vans for camping and when a camper-van club descends on your town, they spend money. For instance, on the Padul visit everybody kept the receipts for anything that they bought in town and once it was totalled up it came to several thousand euros.
