On the 14th, 15th & 16th of this month, there will be a beer festival in Vélez-Málaga, which, for those that enjoy all kinds of beer, is a weekend not to be missed.

The 3-day event put on by Licahumann is called Festibeer and will held in the Parque de Andalucía and will have several activities besides the obvious.

Things kick off on Friday the 14th at 19.00h with the official opening of the beer taps followed by live music provided by Nacho Oropesa. The event bars will close at 02.00h the next morning.

Saturday’s programme begins at 13.00h with a futbolín tournament. Futbolín is the game you play in pubs and games halls with football-player figures on a moveable rod. Come the evening, there will be more live music provided by Soul Sistah and Los Lolipopers, at 17.00h and 22.00h respectively.

The last day of Festibeer 2025 will be when the beer gets officially sampled, starting at 13.00h. This is followed by a concert by the Joker Rock Band starting at 16.00h.

The festival will conclude at 19.00h which is when the event bars will close their beer taps.
