Crafty Craftsman?

The Public Prosecutor in Malaga has recommended a prison sentence for a carpenter accused of swindling a customer over a building renovation.

The carpenter is accused of pocketing 800 euros that were paid over for him to carry out renovation work on a property in Torremolinos. The victim and the accused later met in a cafeteria and a down payment of 800 euros was agreed and paid over.

The accused was supposed to begin work on the property on the 5th of August and did turn up but to supposedly take measurements but after that he never returned. The Public Prosecutor also recommends that the accused pay 800 euros as compensation.
