Abandoned Vehicles in Motril

The spokesperson for Andalucía Por Sí (AxSí) in the Motril, David Martín, has complained about the growing proliferation of abandoned vehicles in different parts of the municipality.

He blames the governing party for this situation for not enforcing the bylaw that require the removal of these vehicles from public roads.

Councillor Martin said, “In addition to generating a negative impact on the image of the town, it also poses a health and safety problem for residents,” adding, “It is unacceptable that Motril is full of abandoned cars, accumulating dirt and occupying public spaces that could be used for other purposes.”

Therefore, Andalucia Por Sí calls upon the governing party to act quickly and effectively, carrying out periodic inspections and applying the corresponding fine to owners who fail to comply with the regulations.
