The Málaga Fire Service was sent out on the 1st to rescue a hiker in the area Monte de San Antón.

According to the City Hall of Málaga, a team from Limonar with a 4×4 fire vehice carrying rescue equipment (ropes, harnesses etc), together with the main fire station’s own all-terrain ambulance were invovled in the rescue.

The alert had gone out around 13.00h on the 1st and the excurstionist, who had fractured her ankle, was soon located and taken to a medical centre.
