The body of a driver was located Tuesday night in his wrecked car below the Molvízar road.

The Emergency Coordination Centre, 112, received a phone call at 20.10h reporting a crashed car aong the GR-5300 where it passes through Molvízar

They rapidly despatched an ambulance, the fire service and the Guardia Civil to the scene of the accident.

Once there, they located a car that had left the road and fallen some 40 metres down a barranco. According to the fire service, reaching the car and the victim was very difficult given the steepness of the sides of the barranco.

The paramedics confirmed that the 65-year-old driver had died in the accident, so his body was taken to the Instituto Anatómico Forense in Granada for an autopsy.
