A road accident between a lorry and a car on the A-7 resulted in somebody being seriously injured and needing immediate medical evacuation by helicopter.
The collision took place within the municipality of Polopos, near kilometre point 886 on the A-7’s westbound lanes.
Traffic had to be diverted along the N-340 at kilometre point 855 whilst the damaged vehicles and debris were removed from the affected lanes
The emergency coordination centre received a phone alert around 14.55h.
