A collision between two vehicles on the A-7 above Castell de Ferro, left a tunnel blocked during several hours.

The accident between a car and a van took place yesterday on the westbound lanes, shortly before 17.40h, which was when the emergency coordination centre received notice of the situation.

Three people were slightly injured and were taken to Hospital Santa Ana in Motril whilst the Guardia Civil handled traffic diversions and road-maintenance crews removed the damaged vehicles and cleared the road surface of debris.
