Infoca were called out, together with the Granada fire service, to tackle a hill fire near the Aquaola water park in Cenes de la Vega yesterday afternoon.
According to the Infoca Twitter account, they were called out by 112 just before 17.20h and the fire initially required air support from a light helicopter, two fire trucks and three squads of firefighters on the ground.

However, by 19.13h they reported on their social media account that the fire was under control and that they now had only two squads and a fire truck at the scene.
Although the area is described as ‘urban’ the municipal fire service needed Infoca’s assets to keep the fire from reaching a wooded area.
