On the 19th of last month the judging panel organised by the Asociación de turismo del Valle de Lecrín sorted through over 100 photo submissions for a competition.
After a lot of deliberation, the panel judges decided to award 1st Prize to Francisco Maldonado Gijón for his Atardecer en Castillo de Morayma for, in their opinion “capturing the essence of Lecrin Valley Heritage.
The 2nd prize went to Jose Miguel Foronda Pozo for his El Lavadero for his balanced composition and exceptional use of colour that,”evokes tranquility.”
The 3rd Prize when to Rafa Castellón for his Senderos Celestiales for his ability to recount stories through architecture and Nature.
