Over a month has passed since the 78-year-old man went missing in Almuñécar but the family wants to the police to dedicated more resources to finding him.

They have accepted that their father, Francisco Pérez Bédmar, is dead, but they want his body found in order to know what happened to him and provide him with a decent burial.

In order to push the authorities into committing more resources, they have organised a protest march on the 30th of this month in Maracena, which is where the family is originally from. In fact, Francisco was a councillor (Urban Development) at that Town Hall over two decades ago.

The march is to set out from the Municipal Theatre (auditorium) and makes its way to the Plaza de la Constitución, where the family will express their gratitude to those who participated.
