La Herradura Bay was chosen for the XXXVI Campeonato de Andalucía de Pesca Mar-Costa Juventud y el XIX Campeonato de Pesca Mar-Costa Damas

The event, with 40 anglers from clubs from all over Andalucia participating, took place last weekend, starting on Saturday and stretching into the early hours of Sunday.

The competition had two parts; the first held Saturday afternoon and the second part starting at 22.00h and lasting into the early hours.

In the first part anglers had good catches with almost half-kilo, striped seabream (Lithognathus mormyrus)
