SAL Sea Life ChatSo what is a nudibranchs? Nudibranchs is a group of soft-bodied, marine, gastropod molluscs that shed their shells after their larval stage.

They are noted for their often extraordinary colours and striking forms, and they have been given colourful nicknames to match, such as clown, marigold, splendid, dancer, dragon, and sea rabbit.

Furthermore, the seabed off La Herradura is considered one of the 10 best places in the world to dive and observe Nudibranchs.

The talk is organised by the Asociación Amigos del Mar, whose aim it is to highten the awareness of the general public about topics related to the marine world.

These talks, held on the first Thursday of each month, address issues related to the ocean from different perspectives (environmental, social, economic, cultural), and are given by speakers of recognised prestige and experience who share their knowledge in a participatory ambience.

To encourage this interaction, after each talk there is a space for questions and reflections, as well as the possibility of continuing to chat and share ideas in a relaxed environment.

Attendance at the talks is free, and includes a courtesy drink. However, it is essential to book in advance via Whatsapp (676 806 418).
