The First Councillor for La Herradura, Daniel Barbero, presented the programme for Carnival this February in the village.
Carnaval 2024 will be held on the 9th and 10th of February.
On Friday the 9th, activities will kick off at 17.00h with a parade leaving the football ground, Las Tejas and winding up on the Plaza de la Independencia. All children can participate as long as they are wearing fancy dress, of course.
There will be a best-costume competition in the square and there will also be a bouncy castle, as well as fun and games.
The activities for Saturday the 10th will also begin with a parade, led by the Princesas Golosinas. The route is the same; i.e., setting of from Las Tejas and ending in the Plaza de la Independencia.
Again, there will be a best-fancy-dress competition, plenty of music thanks to DJ Moisés Franco. There will also be a bar put on, with the takings going to the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC).
