Mist laid all around yesterday morning in Granada and its metropolitan area, but whereas in the city it soon cleared, at the airport it remained.
Consequently, two flights, both belonging to Vueling, which were scheduled to land at Granada Airport, were diverted, instead, to Málaga Airport.
The first one had an ETA at Granada at 10.45h but after several circuits, it headed for Málaga, landing around noon.
The second flight, which had taken off from Tenerife at 07.30h, landed at the right time, but at the wrong airport – Málaga. In both cases, Vueling provided alternative transport to Granada.
As the morning wore on, Aeropuerto Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén was fully operational again.
