The police are investigating the members of a teen gang who had decided to carry out acts of vandalism during the fiestas in Armilla.

Between them they allegedly completely torched a bus and targeted another but this time failed in their attempt.

None of them are from Armilla but are rather from the city of Granada and had turned up in the early hours of the 30th of September as Armilla’s fiestas were in full swing.

They were carrying two air pistols on them when they allegely broke into three vehicles, caused damage to five further cars, and set light to the first bus.

Two nearby buildings were also damaged by the flames from the burning bus. As for the second bus, they used its windows for target practice with their air pistols, after they failed to get it to catch light.

The Guardia Civil in Armilla idendified the alleged culprits; they came across them sleeping in a doorway with the air pistols in their pockets. The police also used footage from numerous CCTV cameras in the area to positively ID the suspects.
