The feria in Nerja might be a good reason or a bad one to visit this Costa del Sol town this week, depending on your reasons.
The feria started last night and will end on Thursday and is located in Huertos de Carabeo, which knocks out this main, surface-area parking spot.
Today, the 9th, there is a Sevillanas competition that will take place at 17.00h then at 17.30h in the parking area of Calle Almirante Carranza, there will be a dressage show.
On Tuesday there will be a procession of brightly coloured and decorated floats starting at noon and then in the evening at 20.30h there will be another procession (Patronos) starting out from the Iglesia de El Salvador.
On Wednesday at 13.00h there’s a special lunch for the elderly at the municipal caseta and on Thursday the 12 at 12.30h there will be a kiddies’ part at the Caseta El Cortijo with a performance of the magician, Pablo Ramón.
Every day of the fiesta, from 18.00h to 20.00h there will be no music in the temporary-bars, area for the fiestas so that autistic and hypersensitive people can get some rest from all the noise and visit the feria without the acoustic bombardment.
