A Swedish woman gave birth on a piece of waste ground in Motril.

This occurred in the Barrio de San Antonio area of town, next to shanty constructions where several neighbours helped out with the birth.

The delivery took place on the 8th of this month without complication and a little later an ambulance arrived to make sure that both the new born and its mother were in good health.

Despite their getting a preliminary check by the paramedics on board, the ambulance took them to Hospital Santa Ana for further check ups.
