The Guardia Civil have set in motion an international arrest warrant for a British man accused of knifing his girlfriend in Mijas.
This took place at the beginning of the week in a moving car. The victim, a young woman, jumped or was pushed from the speeding car; police are not sure whether he pushed her out, or in desperation she launched herself from the moving vehicle to get away from her attacker.
Apparently, the 35-year-old, British suspect has a violent history behind him, including in his criminal record an attempted murder back in the UK. He also did serious jail time there.
Going back to the day of the car incident, the couple were seen to get into a car and an argument begin as soon as they pulled off.
Almost immediately, the police consider, the victim received a stab wound to her thigh and was ejected/jumped from the car. She suffered extensive injuries caused by the contact with the tarmac.
A Delegate from the Junta explained that the victim is no longer in Spain as she has returned with her family to the UK.
