Almuñécar Town Hall announced that from today the new rubbish collection times would come into force, given summer temperatures.
The new times will remain in force until the 24th of September, which is when the world will end… just kidding; it’s when summer officially ends.
Those living in the centre of town, or have a business there, will have to put their rubbish out before 21.00h, which is when the rubbish-collection crews begin their rounds.
You can’t put your rubbish out before 16.00h and have until 18.00h. Transgressors will be shot with taser guns until they glow in the dark. I might be lying, mind…
We’re talking about Avenida Rey Juan Carlos I, Avenida Andalucía and Avenida Europa, as well as the Paseo Puerta del Mar and Paseo Prieto Moreno-Caletilla.
Obviously, this includes the shopping centre; i.e., Calle Real, Calle Alta del Mar, Calle Baja del Mar, Cuesta de la Iglesia and Calle Vélez, etc.
