Brit Arrested on Málaga Flight

A Manchester man in his early 60s was arrested on Monday for aggressive behaviour towards his wife/partner on a flight from the UK (Leeds) to Málaga Airport.

AND Malaga Airport 400x250The 61-year-old man was arrested by the Guardia Civil as soon as the aircraft landed. The police had been alerted by the cabin crew via air-traffic controllers concerning the disturbance during the flight.

The man went before a magistrate in Málaga yesterday, charged with gender violence.

But Málaga Airport has had other difficult passengers to deal with over the last few days – a man had made it out onto the tarmac to catch a flight to Morocco. However, the Guardia Civil intervened and the man was arrested.

The said passenger had arrived late at the boarding gate and found it closed but decided to try and get on the plane anyway. He got as far as the end of the ‘finger’ (the connecting corridor that fits to the side of the aircraft) after it had been disconnected.

Ground staff had tried to stop him but to no avail, and he tried to jump down, falling badly. Soon after officers arrived to arrest him

A tad unfair on this Manc couple. What may look nasty to the rest of us is just seen as romantic tussling to them.
The other chap has seen the light; Europe is not paved with gold. Take me back pleeeese!
