Readers might remember the shooting near Rules Reservoir resulting in death & injury. The police are looking for the fourth person implicated.
The shooting incident took place on the 13th of July last year and ended with one person dead and another ending up irrevocably paraplegic.
Members of two rival drug gangs had met, either by design or accident on a stretch of main road that runs from the dam to Órgiva where an exchange of shots took place.
So far, police operation Kovac Dep has brought about three arrests; two Serbians and an Albanian. However, they still haven’t tracked down the fourth person; the one who actually fired the fatal shots: A 36-year-old, Swedish man of Albanian origin called Aartan Muharremi but simply known as Luli.
Of the three arrests made, two took place in Marbella the day following the shooting and the third arrest was not until March this year when the suspect was located in Adra (Almería). The reason that the third arrest took so long was because he had been living under a false identity; that of an Italian.
Police are calling on anybody who recognises this man in the photo above to contact them via the Guardia Civil number, 062 or via their Granada HQ on 958 185 400.
