The 112 press service issued a statement on Tuesday to say that the body of a man was found in a burnt-out camper van in Níjar (Almería).

It was just after 06.00h that morning that the call centre were alerted to a camper van in flames on Calle Los Jiménez, in the small municipal dependency of Albaricoques.

Once the fire was put out, fire personnel confirmed that the vehicle contained a human body. Given the state of the remains it was impossible to establish the approximate age for example.

No further information is available about the exact type of camper van, it’s owner nor whether the remains correspond with the said owner.
