A woman fell to her death from a 6th-floor window in the centre of Zaidín (metropolitan Granada) on the Friday the 7th.

The 72-year-old victim, for reasons still unknown, fell around 20 metres to the pavement below, on Calle Pablo Picasso. The Policía Nacional are investigating the death.

The first at the scene that morning were the Policía Local, who arrived around 10.00h. As there was nothing to be done for the victim, they set about cordoning off the street whilst they waited for the Policía Nacional to arrive and take charge of the situation.

First indications were that it was an accidental fall.
